Happy Birthday Elizabeth! - Vineland Photography

I recently had the privilege of photographing an 85th birthday party at Vineland Estates Winery in Vineland, Ontario. Elizabeth turned 85 years old, and her family wanted to help her celebrate in a big way!

The venue for the evening was the famous Carriage House nestled between the restaurant and the winery itself.

 

Family came from near and far to help celebrate this special occasion!

I couldn't resist some food photos!

The woman of the hour. She gave a very eloquent and moving thank-you speech during dinner, what a lovely lady! I had a difficult time capturing any photos of her, as she told me "I don't really like my profile, but thank-you for coming anyway." ;)

Congratulations Elizabeth, and I wish you many more!

I met this couple at Liuna Gardens after work on friday afternoon. It was cold and windy, but they were great sports for putting up with me and my crazy ideas!

Liuna Gardens holds a special place in their hearts, as this is where they had gotten engaged!

I had so much fun with you guys last night! I pushed my camera harder than ever before, and the end result was so worth it!

Walker Family Photos - Vineland, Ontario

I had the pleasure of photographing the Walker family last weekend! The love they had for each other and for others was evident through-out the whole session. What a truly lovely family!

 

 

Four boys...need I say more?!? I can only wish I had that much energy everyday!

So much energy, but they did sit still for a few seconds!

Steve and Carissa were wed yesterday! I will admit that the weather in the morning was giving me some anxiety as all the photos were to be done outdoors! However, the day turned out to be beautifully sunny and just a touch on the cool side. Carissa was dazzlingly beautiful and Steve looked striking in his tux! Congratulations you two, it was a beautiful day after all. I hope that it was all you dreamed it would be and more! Thank-you for allowing us to capture your special day for you!

Mike and Amanda had to wait a bit longer to meet baby Jayden than they anticipated, but I'd say she was worth the wait!
