I'm an AUNT!

Baby Clara entered the world at 5 am today, entrusted to my sister and her husband! She is absolutely perfect and such a blessing to her parents!

For Nana it was love at first sight!

I didn't have a chance to hold her yet, but my time will come. For now, I am content to be behind my camera (you can expect many more photos to come)!

Hamilton Maternity Photography - Candace

My sister Candace and her husband Jon are expecting their first child in the beginning of June! What better way to celebrate this joyful occasion than to document part of that journey in photographs?!? My parents will be first time grand-parents, and for Jon's parents this will be the third grandchild! Here is a sneak peak (until my computer starts behaving and I can finish more than just one photo at a time!). Don't you just love her little bump?!?

Evan - Baden Newborn Photography

Jamie and Steph knew they were having a little boy, and we tried very hard to set up a maternity session for Steph before she had him...to no avail! So instead, she decided to wait until this little munchkin was born, and make the drive down to Hamilton so I could photograph him. Hopefully Steph, these were worth the wait!

According to his momma, he sleeps all day and is awake all night...

Happy Birthday Elizabeth! - Vineland Photography

I recently had the privilege of photographing an 85th birthday party at Vineland Estates Winery in Vineland, Ontario. Elizabeth turned 85 years old, and her family wanted to help her celebrate in a big way!

The venue for the evening was the famous Carriage House nestled between the restaurant and the winery itself.

 

Family came from near and far to help celebrate this special occasion!

I couldn't resist some food photos!

The woman of the hour. She gave a very eloquent and moving thank-you speech during dinner, what a lovely lady! I had a difficult time capturing any photos of her, as she told me "I don't really like my profile, but thank-you for coming anyway." ;)

I met this couple at Liuna Gardens after work on friday afternoon. It was cold and windy, but they were great sports for putting up with me and my crazy ideas!

Liuna Gardens holds a special place in their hearts, as this is where they had gotten engaged!

I had so much fun with you guys last night! I pushed my camera harder than ever before, and the end result was so worth it!

Walker Family Photos - Vineland, Ontario

I had the pleasure of photographing the Walker family last weekend! The love they had for each other and for others was evident through-out the whole session. What a truly lovely family!
